Our chefs have created a special Christmas menu to suit every occasion, with delicious seasonal dishes served in our warm and welcoming pub. For something a little more exclusive, our private loft dining room is available for groups of up to 16 – ideal for those looking to make the celebration extra special.

CHRISTMAS DAY AT THE OLD VOL 🎄

Celebrate the most magical day of the year in true Old Vol style, with an indulgent Christmas Day menu crafted by our two AA Rosette kitchen to make this one truly unforgettable.
- Begin with chargrilled Welbeck focaccia, served with homemade butters, olive oil and balsamic
- Enjoy beautifully crafted starters such as Chicken Liver Parfait with Pistachio and Cranberry Gel, Smoked Haddock Fishcake with Curry Velouté, or a Beetroot Terrine with Horseradish Cream
- Choose from show-stopping mains including Treacle Glazed Bistro Rump Heart, Roast Chicken Breast with all the trimmings, a plant-based Mushroom Wellington, or Salmon with Caviar and Beurre Blanc
- Finish with indulgent desserts including Classic Christmas Pudding with Brandy Custard, Dark Chocolate & Orange Torte, or a Chef's Selection of Five Cheeses
A curated children's menu is available for £45, featuring comforting festive favourites including Roast Rump of Beef, Pan Roasted Chicken Breast and a Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Say goodbye to 2026 and welcome the new year with a night to remember at The Old Vol!
We’re setting the scene for an evening of great food, live music, and celebration. Enjoy a full à la carte menu, featuring chef’s NYE specials served all night long, as Alexa & Charmaine Brocklebank take to the stage to keep the party going. Bookings are open from 5 PM! Secure your table early to make sure you don't miss out.
Whether you’re joining us for dinner, drinks, or to dance your way into midnight, expect an electric atmosphere, delicious dishes, and plenty of sparkle.
