Booking Terms and Conditions

The Old Vol’s continued success relies on reservations being honoured by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations. Accordingly, the following applies:

Cancellation Fee

1. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any booking that is cancelled, or if numbers are reduced without prior notice.

2. For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or any changes to the number of guests at least 48 hours prior to your booking.

3. The Old Vol reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of £15 per person for any bookings changed or cancelled within this 48-hour notice period.

4. The cancellation fee reflects the cost incurred by The Old Vol in terms of staffing, food, and any lost revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings.

5. We will notify you if any cancellation fee is applied.

6. Any bookings which fail to turn up without any prior notice will also incur a £15 per person fee

Reservation Policy

1. Credit card details are required to secure a booking.

2. No monetary value is taken at the time of booking.

Time Allocation

1. All bookings are allocated a time slot based on number of covers:

1-2 covers | 100 mins

3-4 covers | 120 mins

5-7 covers | 130 mins

8+ covers | 150 mins

Garden Bookings

The garden is closed for winter and will reopen in Spring 2025.

Pet Policy

Dogs are welcome in the bar area but not permitted in the restaurant or garden. 

Special Offers

NG14 cards are valid Monday to Thursday from 12 pm until 9 pm

NG14 cards cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, set menu, or special event

Garden Pods

A non-refundable reservation fee of £50 applies

Pods are for adults aged 16 and over only

Gazebos

A non-refundable, non-redeemable hire charge of £75 applies

Gazebos are suitable for relaxed, informal dining experiences

VIP Pergola

A non-refundable reservation fee of £300 applies.

Not suitable for formal dining events

LOFT

A non-refundable reservation fee of £150 applies

Suitable for formal-dining and private events

General

The Old Volunteer reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time
